Fake Counterfeit Cd’s NOT Bootlegs

Fake Cd’s

In approx 2008/9 someone in China decided that the 1st four of the 1995 EMI Albert Australian release picture cd’s were getting very rare and worth a few yen so they decided to press fake copies of the 1st four Bon Scott albums. There are also now a few Russian fake cd’s in the market. I have just put on all the pictures i have on this page but please view each individual page for more info. Select a page from the tree on the right hand side of any page. PLEASE CLICK ON ANY PIC FOR LARGER VIEW.

Therefore my fellow AC/DC fans I rest my case, the four cd’s below are all fake counterfeit and worthless.

My sincere thanks also goes to a good friend in Germany who assisted in providing most of the pictures. Thank you.

  1. I recently picked up an Albert Productions / CBS CD copy of T.N.T (465262 2, 1989). Different issue that those referenced in the article, but wondering if there’s an answer out there for the below…

The front-cover side of the insert has a subtle white line at the top that looks like it was miscut or misprinted in production.

Also, the inner side has a matte finish instead of your typical glossy.

Anyone able to confirm if either of the above are standard/legitimate for this issue? If not, wondering if there’s any chance in Hell that someone out there would take the time to create a bootleg insert to replace a damaged original, in order to sell the disc.

The rest of the packaging looks legitimate to me.
